Polish Sustainable Design & Business for a Better Future
how did it start
In June 2024, a study visit was organized by the Polish Cultural Institute in London and Anka Pietrzyk-Simone, co-founder of On & On Designs. The event took place with the participation of key experts such as Lady Lucy French OBE, CEO of Fleet Street Quarter BID, and Timothy Shepherd from BGY ID Architects. This initiative marked the beginning of a unique Polish-British collaboration project. The Let’s Art Foundation also took part in this visit, where they had the opportunity to meet Anka Pietrzyk-Simone, who invited them to collaborate as co-curator and producer of the Polish-British project program, recognizing their expertise and Anka’s twenty years of experience in the creative industry in London, as well as her commitment to promoting Polish design on the international stage over the past two decades.
About the project: emphasis on process
Polish and British partners will collaborate in creating, organizing, and promoting events together.
The project brings together various fields, such as art, design, science, technology, and business, to find innovative solutions to challenges related to sustainability, ecology, and climate change.
Long-Term Collaboration: The goal of the project is to build lasting relationships and a network of cooperation that will benefit both countries for years to come.
The “Designing Tomorrow” project is an ambitious initiative with the potential to strengthen Polish-British relations and contribute to the development of innovative, sustainable design.
