Oskar Zięta – Through process to progress

Loop Generation / BGY ID / On&On Designs / Let’s Art Foundation / Polish Cultural Institute

An Exhibition by Zieta

We are excited to showcase the latest exhibition at Loop Generation, featuring a curated display of selected pieces from Zieta Studio. This multidisciplinary team, comprising architects, designers, engineers, and technologists, explores the intersection of technology, art, and design.

Led by Oskar Zięta and supported by extensive research and experimentation, the team of ‘process designers’ achieve unpredictable yet controlled results when working with metal, referring to it as “a controlled loss of control”. Their flagship FiDU technology transforms metal sheets into three-dimensional marvels.

The exhibition will be held at Loop Generation, which is known for its meticulously selected exclusive, sustainable pre-loved designer fashion.

Zieta Studio

An award-winning Process Design Studio experimenting with the advanced metal forming.Through a synergy of technology, art and design, they deliver innovative forms to those who are equally fascinated by both, the material and its narrative. Their works are the result of years of study of the properties of metal and the proprietary FiDU method of forming steel with an internal pressure to create objects/sculptures that provoke the senses. Normally designers draw up a shape or a particular object and then attempt to adapt the technology to it. Zieta controls the production process and the actual form results from it. They call it “process design”. Driven by minimalism in form, they create mostly monomaterial metal objects that are long-lasting and fully recyclable. Never ceasing to challenge themselves and the material for constant progress they are ready to shape the future.
